In the movie Coco Avant Chanel (Coco Before Chanel) 2009, we find Gabrielle Chanel working as a seamstress and at night she performs in a cabaret singing Qui qu’a vu Coco dans l’Trocadéro? (Who’s seen Coco in the Trocadero?) where she earns the nickname of Coco.
